In the Borderlands, her people had a saying: "Only the Dark One stays the same." Men grew and progressed; the Shadow just remained as it was. Evil.

Awesome! I don't know if Book #12 was better than the rest because the story had been slow, if Sanderson was able to tell a better tale, or that after 11 books of prologue the story had to get better because of everything that came before. Maybe Book #12 was good because of a combination of all of these elements but whatever it was I am a fan. This was a rare time since the earlier books where I didn't want to put the story down and I wanted to keep reading.

The action was fast paced, the inner monologue and struggles of the characters meant something as you gained insight to their personality and the story progressed. This book makes me want to re-read all the books before it, it has gotten me excited about the Wheel of Time story after a few books of feeling indifferent about it.
