This was actually really good. I liked that the cops were basically gone. I'm a total sucker for aesthetic hocking of Catholicism. Michael is a really cool character and the vampire fights were really fun.

I felt pretty bad about susan just getting vampified and fucking off without saying goodbye but I feel like that is on purpose. I imagine she’ll be back in a future book. It is a pretty reasonable resolution to the love triangle with murphy I guess.

Dresden is slowly becoming less of a cop-brained wannabe but he still needs to check his fucking savior complex already.
