Review of the novel 'Widerstand und Emigration'

5 stars

The distinctive manner in which the book's narrator (Death), who evidently has a slightly Anglo-Saxon connection to the German language, presents information distinguishes it from other wartime narratives featuring common subjects. It performs really effectively 98% of the time, and the rare instances when the author failed to grasp the German language do not significantly diminish its appeal. Despite occasional reliance on clichés, the novel consistently maintains clarity throughout. The individuals shown are mostly morally upright, so they largely tolerated the occurrence of the Holocaust without experiencing excessive discomfort. dordle.io
