Sheds a lot of light on violent imperialism in the mid-late 20th century that was just conveniently omitted from my western textbooks. This is the kind of book that I want to send to my friends, family, and parents, and say "wow, how did we miss all this?". Of course, I know the answer - people don't want to have to confront this.
