Trudi Hammel Garland: Math and music (1995, Dale Seymour Publications)

Very Digestible and Informative

I grabbed this off the shelf in the library while I was looking for books for an unrelated paper. I am a musician and not a physicist, and this book did a great job of explaining the mathematical and physical properties of music and sound in an easy to understand way. I recommend this to those who want to learn more about the way music breaks down to the numbers.
