A novella by the much awarded author in the new Amazon series Forward, this tells the story of an unnamed protagonist, sent back to Earth (Telos) to get something to bring back to the wayward star faring colony that they require. The story is told from the point of view of the controlling voice in his head, so it is done in a real interesting fashion. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a fantastic job of the reading. A little bit optimistic and little bit pessimistic, Jemisin does a great job in such a short span. Can't wait to read some more.
