When I first finished reading this book, I didn't know what to say in my review. It had taken me a long time to read and it felt quite different compared to other things I've read. So I decided to wait and let my thoughts percolate, which quickly devolved into procrastination.

Now I feel like I can say something. This book felt like a whole world.

It created a place in my mind that I feel myself going sometimes. I'll think of looking out at the snow from a hotel window and of writing in a notebook at a cafe.

It's a strange story. I'm not sure how I feel about the story itself, but I'm amazed at how I feel that there are people and places I now know.

After reading, I felt a deep sadness and deep sense of humanity.

It also mentions snow so dang much, but I feel like that's part of the charm.
