What is the story of Eugene Onegin? I perhaps could recount it, that is, I could recount it now, yet I have doubts I will be able to recall anything from it in roughly a week. This does not matter. The story does not matter. This is, stated plainly, delightful poetry. That is what will remain with me. Pushkin was a great poet.
I have read the translation by JAMES E. FALEN and do highly recommend it. The rhythm of the word and the rhymes are perfection!
