Joao Trindade reviewed The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli
Review of 'The Prince' on 'Goodreads'
2 stars
I did not like this book. Machiavelli lobbies the prince with unsupported opinions.
Also it is filled with stereotypes and nationalist ideas.
If I may quote from the book to exemplify the kind of suggestions given by Machievelli:
"...because fortune is a woman, and if you wish to keep her under it is necessary to beat and ill-use her;"
This book is only interesting from the historical point of view.
