No. I can't do this. There is good historical information in here and a valid concern about ecological change and invasive species; but after almost putting it down immediately for the pompous grandeur that basically claimed that invasive species in the Great Lakes are the worst catastrophe humanity has ever experienced, the book picks up a bit. But that tone pervades through the narrative, so I'm calling it quits after about 20%, I can't take it anymore.
