My wife bought this as a gift for me because I have rather enjoyed Walters' historical fiction in the past, including the book that this is sequel to. I was excited to crack in, knowing I was in for good quality. (And, so sue me, I'm always a sucker for 17th century England.) I then proceeded to read about half the book in one go. Well done me!
