A gripping read with truly fascinating worldbuilding! If I'm honest, it's not the sort of subgenre I'd usually reach for, but Samantha Shannon is so brilliant that that hardly matters. I'm excited to crack into the next one! (Unfortunately it will be some time before I can get the rest of the series from the library due to Xmas acquisitions, but at this point I fully intend to find them when I have time!)
