Julian Barnes (duplicate): Levels of Life (2014, Penguin Random House)

Review of 'Levels of Life' on 'Goodreads'

Progressing, I was entertained and captured by the narrative of early aviation, photography, and the musings on the human perspective. So far, so good.

But then, a corner was turned and I could not help but be deeply moved by Julian Barnes’ soulsearching, heartbreaking, ruthless examination of pure, unadulterated an unwaning grief. I stand in awe.
