This book just didn’t grip me. I was forcing myself to pick it up and read it. I think the utter selfishness of her parents was too much for me and I shit myself off from it. I reached the part where Tara is forced to work in the scrapyard and gets a metal bar in her leg. That was it for me. DNF.
