Honestly was a slog going through the first half - not bad or boring at all, just completely confusing like watching the in-jokes with a new group of friends and smiling politely while feeling like an intruder. Towards the end, so many of those confusing pieces all clicked together at once and it was fantastic. Well worth the full read-through. I appreciated the wanky philosophy talk all the way through, pink dragons included.
