Erin Morgenstern: The Starless Sea (Hardcover, 2019, Doubleday)

FAR BENEATH the surface of the earth, upon the shores of the Starless Sea, there …

The Book paints a very interesting world. It is somewhat magical, but not in the clichee way. I often don't know where to expect magic and find myself surprised by either its appearance or the lack of it. There is a main story, but many chapters stand for themselves and are more or less loosely connected. Due to that, this book does not really suck you into it, but allows for very relaxed reading. And its enjoyable atmosphere is definitely something I like going back into.
