Read it for a reading club and didn't expect to really get into it but in the end I loved it's prose and style and how it played with times and people. I'm not en expert as a he/him but I have to admit that for a long time I thought that Amor Towles was the name of a female author because the main character is a woman and the author writes so naturally out of her perspective.
