I am trying very hard to find the words to describe this book, but I'm falling short every time. I think the best way to describe it, would be to use one of the last lines in the book itself.
"I wanted to ask her how the same thing could be so ugly and so glorious, and its words so damning and brilliant."
It's one of the most beautifully morose books I've ever read.
