Very crazy story. I want to read the original novel to get more perspective but it appears this manga adaptation shows the self destruction of one man. There's a lot of moments where I was like "goddamn this is fucked." Not sure what I learned from this other than the fact that trauma can literally destroy us and cause us to become less human. In a way, it made me think about the world and where we are today with everything going on, it makes me almost not want to be human because of how fucked up we have been to our planet and other humans (eg. Palestinians, the Indigenous, etc)
