Different in vibe from the 'original' series. It's the same 'universe' but the story is shorter, has (mostly) different characters and is staged (mostly) in a different setting. Reading the reviews on Goodreads it seems this disappointments some. I did enjoy it, though. "We're Alive: Lockdown" is a well told story. And - just like the original series - it is extremely well produced.

(Note: this story has the original series as a backdrop, so you'll enjoy it more when you listened to that first).
