This book requires a greater understanding of (and interest in) economic theory than I have, so much of it went over my head. In the parts I understood, though, he made some good points - the primary one being that capital has long since ceased to serve the well-being of humanity and is now solely dedicated to its own increase, no matter who or what must be used, destroyed or pushed aside in the process.
