Review of 'Education of an Idealist' on 'Goodreads'

3 stars

For Power enthusiasts, the book is an in depth record of her considerable achievements, and details the amazing work she has done for our country, particularly as UN ambassador. But, like lots of political memoirs, the author is not a literary type, and the book is a chronological litany of "I did it good" events in her life. I suspect that people in politics tend to be practical doers who don't have either the time or inclination for lots of reflection, but tales of endless perfection, without misstep, and no matter how fascinating, can become tiresome.
