This was published posthumously from notes and partial manuscripts, so it doesn't always hold together and some sections seem only loosely related, at best, to other sections. But the premise of the novel is highly original (fiction about the IRS??), and the writing is brilliant and very smart. I just purchased Wallace's Infinite Jest and can't wait to read it.
