Review of 'The Slow Regard of Silent Things: A Kingkiller Chronicle Novella [Paperback] [Nov 10, 2016] Patrick Rothfuss' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

A lovely look into Auri's life that sheds light on the world and magic of these books. What initially reads as an obsessive disorder feels more like mastery of an unnamed form of magic by the end of it. It raises more questions than it answers however and feels less it might occur in the middle of the third book, time wise. Ignore the haters, they are either fundamentally impatient or incapable of reading clear disclaimers that frankly shouldn't be necessary anyway. If you like the rest of the series, this is definitely worth your time.
