Pretty good book overall. A little too much of an 'intro to the Shadowrun universe', but I suppose that's reasonable in a first book. Just a bit weird in something you would only buy if you already were a Shadowrun fan.

Decent plot, characters, story and setting. I mean, it's Shadowrun, right? You basically know what you're reading this for.
I'd say it's really more 2.5 stars than 3, but I'll round up.
