Enjoyable idea of what a surviving Roman Empire would look like as a space faring civilization. Only stopped reading since I found it in Kindle Unlimited and I stopped paying for it. May pick it up again if I find it elsewhere.

Good sequel to the book that created the cozy fantasy genre. Genuine tension throughout the book that is generally low-key until the end. Lovely setting and lovely character/friendship development. Hope to see these characters again!

Nice cozy fantasy, good world building. Having lovely recipes for imaginary drinks are an interesting way to delivery backstory for the world it exists in. Lots of intrigue and characters worth caring about.

Well done alt-history set in a cozy mystery where appeasers make a deal with Germany and avoid WW2, but the insidious nature of fascism still makes it way into a formerly free Britain. Well written main characters examine how the nature of being closeted impact queer people in a totalitarian society.
