One of the best books in the series. All of Mrs. Pringles hemming and hawing is dreadful but keeps one's interest and Minnie being a ditz sometimes gets amusing. Joe is great and even Miss Crebbe can be humouous, but that might be more due to how Prunella Scales performs her attempt to eat an oatcake.
