An interesting jump from 2 Serpents - it’s nice to see characters from the other books overlapping.

I didn’t love Izza for most of the book, plucky urchin wasn’t my favorite. The end also went a little fast to tie Teo and Cat into the plot.

I didn’t mind the relative lack of craft, but there also wasn’t much in the way of wizard-lawyering, which tends to be my favorite part of these books.

Anyway that’s just nitpicking, it’s a solid 4.
