Still knee deep in the chapter on Amazon and I’d say a solid 50% of the books predictions have come to pass. The notable exception is the author’s belief (in 2017) that those ridiculous Amazon Go stores were going to take off

It’s non fiction time and this has been sat on my nightstand FOREVER.

A lot of the older Black Library titles have aged poorly, Xenos is not one of them.
In a universe where the books are increasingly similar battle stories the Eisenhorn books stand out as solid detective novels in a universe that is bursting at the seams with mystery and intrigue.

Weaker book for a stronger character

Certainly not a bad read, but it’s definitely not among the best of the Primarch books. The greater shame is that Mortarion is one of the more interesting Primarchs and this book kinda phones it in.
