I think the thing that will stick with me most from this excellent book is Fanon's observation on the difference in psychology between colonized natives before a war of liberation has begun and during the war itself. It gives me hope that perhaps they stirrings of America's nascent left could yet blossom into a truly revolutionary consciousness.
