Oreo Teeth reviewed End of watch by Stephen King (King, Stephen.: Bill Hodges trilogy -- 3.)

Isn't it lovely when you've been anticipating the final book in a series for quite some time so your expectations just keep getting higher and higher, and then when you finally get your hands on a copy of that last book it does not disappoint?
There were a few little plot points that I found implausible, but isn't that why we love our Uncle Stevie? It's all part of his charm to keep spinning ever taller tales and see how far we'll go along with him. The strength of the book for me lies in strong character development. When the premise got a little bit silly the characters held their own and I kept reading on to see how the strange twists and turns would affect them. Plus of course I really wanted to see the bad guy get what was coming to him. I hope that you guys will find the resolution of this three book story arc as satisfying as I did.
