Review of 'Insignia' on 'Goodreads'

I am reluctant to give this book a rating of 4, but I can't help myself. The premise is stupid a world war without risk of casualties, run by kids, the protagonist is unbelievably gifted and makes unbearably stupid decisions and the bad guys are one-dimensionally evil.

Still, Insignia has the kind of modern storytelling I love that resembles that of TV series rather than movies. It's really hard to put this book down. YA is one of my guilty pleasures and this one is really worth the read.
