Lord of Candy reviewed Iron Gold by Pierce Brown (Red Rising Saga, #4)

This series turns more into something comic book oriented the longer I read it. Not a hit, just the way it seems to flow overall. The prose is solid as Brown is good at but I felt that its story getting split into nearly three stories that barely fit together could have been segregated into 2 books instead of one. I liked it, wasn't as in love as the prior chunky series but I'm glad we'll continue on and with the stage now set for some further difficult choices and realities look forward to seeing where it's going.
