I vacillated between 4 and 5 stars for this. It could go either way. Let's call it 4.5. I was slow to get into it. It didn't really grab me until about half way through the second chapter. Then it had me.
This is a small book. It is about a handful of (objectively not terribly eventful) days in the life of one character.
This is also an enormous book. It reveals an entire world inhabited by said character, with more detail than one will find in many trilogies. It allows us to gently but deeply get to know one of the most interesting characters from [b:The Name of the Wind|186074|The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1)|Patrick Rothfuss|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1515589515s/186074.jpg|2502879].
This is a lovely book. There were a couple of times that tears welled in my eyes because a scene was so beautifully perfect.
This is an aptly titled book. Not only is the title drawn directly from the story, it is also a fine description of what is to be found within.
