A note on the audiobook, the male narrator sometimes speaks very quietly yet there are bits of shouty dialogue, which then blast your eardrums if you put the volume up to hear him over background noise. I enjoyed the story though, more than The Switch, and I was laughing out loud at the roadside wee incident. As with her other books, there is also a more serious side, so content warning for sexual assault and alcoholism.
