Nuance and adventure

This book is a complete departure from the previous book in the series, Excession. It is really two seemingly unrelated stories told from the perspective of an apprentice, on one hand, and an assassin on the other. The book is a remarkable work and I even learned a new word. Well worth reading. Just don't expect to read about Minds and advanced technology. Well, not really.
