Growing up in a giant underground silo, sheltered from the toxic atmosphere that's ravaged the earth outside, the inhabitants of Silo 18 don't know any other type of life. But nonetheless, there are signs here and there that something isn't quite right. Secrets are being kept, history is being hidden. The Wool omnibus describes the efforts of a few people to uncover the secrets and try to take control of their future. A very well-imagined and unique setting and examination of the social problems this environment might face.

I listened to the Audible recording of the book and I think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd actually read it myself. The narrator wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either and several of her voice choices bothered me, not to mention a few mispronunciations of words.
