If you're hankering for a trendy psychological thriller along the lines of "The Girl on the Train" or "Gone Girl," then this should be your next read. It's fast paced, has a couple different story lines, and is well written for its genre. And if that's what you're craving, I'd give this 4.5 stars. I give it 3 because books like this make me feel like I've just consumed a meal of cotton candy - if I don't move on to something with more substance soon, I'll have a blood sugar crash.
