Interesting premise. This book is all character, little plot, and none of the characters is really that sympathetic, so I struggled a bit to get through it. I suspect the reason it got picked up for a movie and has good reviews from other readers is because of the reveal near the end. In short: it was OK, but I think this might be a case where the movie outshines the book - guess I'll have to watch it to decide.
