This book will strike an emotional chord with any reader! The author expertly builds a world where dreams are sold in a department store, but it goes so much deeper than that. She explores the source of common dreams, weaves in commentary of the human condition, and in the end will leave you so full of emotion that you'll be ready to send your payment in to Dallergut!

This book paints a wonderful portrait of humanity through the lens of another work, "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder. You can see the parallels between the average every day existence of most Americans, the characters of one of the greatest plays of all time, and the characters in this book. It is breathtaking, heartbreaking, and well worth the read!

This was a good read, though I would give it like 3.5 stars out of five because of a couple of factors. First, it is a little tropey and predictable. Second, and most annoyingly, the characters don't seem to participate in the plot so much as they experience and respond to it. Their actions really only matter in just a handful of situations.
That being said, the depictions of space flight and the aerospace industry are spot on. The accounts of engineering processes and interactions with management and politics ring true. If you are a space/technology enthusiast, you will enjoy this book!
