@ThatJonathanDavis Now I'm kind of curious how you ended up here, I don't think I would have found BookWyrm without Mastodon! For reference, BookWyrm is built on ActivityPub, the same protocol that powers Mastodon and people can follow BookWyrm users from Mastodon servers.
@remicah It was Cory Doctorow's Chokepoint Capitalism that made me want to search for a way to reduce ties with major tech companies. I found Bookwyrm because of it. While the lack of an app is unfortunate, Bookwyrm is superior to Goodreads from an ethics perspective.
