Without even attempting to read cited book, I still protest the unfair treatment meted out to "Chemistry" by relegating it to.mere sub text.

He sort of apologizes for it, but he's a physicist and doesn't want to cover chemistry he's not familiar with and get it wrong. (I'm still pretty early in the book so I don't know how much chemistry it will or won't have)
