The faint queer codedness of it all was also refreshing (seems like a good time to point out that Ichiho Michi used to? write BL), but since I was craving something with a bit more finality, I felt let down. Lessons for me: 1) don’t always believe the copy on the obi, and 2) don’t buy books just because they’re more than 300 pages ⬅️ if I’m shelling out this much for intl shipping then might as well get my money’s worth (flawed logic)
From this book the obvious next read is Hibana or maybe another Ichiho book (Tsumidemic) but I want to wrap up other reads first.
