I read so many bad reviews of this book that I almost didn't bother reading it. It seems like most of the negative reviews fail to take into account the intended audience. It's a YA supernatural fantasy. For the genre, it's VERY good, and certainly on par with any of the other teen supernatural romances out there. Some reviewers took issue with how the male mc treats the female mc in the beginning of the story, or how 'insta-drawn-together' they are, but both of these are explained later (in bonus chapters written from his pov-- things you weren't supposed to know yet!) Was it my favorite YA vampire romance? No. But it was good and it definitely doesn't deserve the miserable reviews it's gotten. Would make a great movie.
