A smart and witty tale! I don't usually go for evil genius types, so Artemis wasn't my favorite character ever but I liked him better than I thought I would by the end. And I loved Holly, Root, and the other fairies! I also liked the addition of commentary on the environment, since the fairies remembered a time before we "Mud People" started destroying the earth.
