Although the framework of this book is about songwriting, Tweedy’s advice, approach, and exercises can easily be applied to other creative pursuits. It’s the book I needed right now. And like other favorite authors, that I could hear his voice in my head as I read, made it feel like listening to a story from a dear friend.
