I think I tried reading this once before and gave up half way. I have no memory of reading it but some of the scenes seem familiar. returnThis second book is no where near as interesting as the first book. Maybe because this one went a step too far with the references, piling on names, dates and places without much explanation of their significance. Or maybe they’re just not references that had any significance to me, I don’t know. I just know that I found myself zoning out multiple times in the story.
