Alright Tumblr wouldn't stop gabbing about the new TV show so I'm getting to these now.

ONE CHEEKY COMPLAINT SO FAR: Scott is from Rochester. This is fine, delightful even, but there are two inconsistencies to me. First, he specifically mentions being excited to play in NYC. Playing in the NHL I get, but speaking to my Rochester Correspondent (spouse), a fondness for NYC would be rather remarkable upstate. Second, zero mention of garbage plates. I think a hockey player would appreciate their caloric density, is all.

Beartongue Puts Up with So Much

I loved this book a lot! I think the way it conceptualizes paladins is incredible, and it takes the best part of why I like werewolf romance (this person is a bit feral about you) without taking on the part I like least about werewolf romance (the feral quality is one that must be allowed to ransack or it will be unhealthy for them), but still maintains what makes paladins so wonderful to chew on (the guilt, the intense adherence to rules they think are correct).

The romance was also very sweet, really actually managed the "two broken people" concept where they are both learning to forgive who they became under Circumstances and work on moving closer to who they want to be.

Yeah that's about it honestly. It was good, I appreciated that it talked about that kind of fury that comes from having to just Take It, it felt very faithful to my memory of that kind of anger in high school.
