Like the yearly Bosch novel, a new Reacher book is part of my birthday celebrations. Child delivers his standard fare and I still enjoy it. As with Harry Bosch there must come a time when it all ends. Although I suppose Child will not kill off his cash cow anytime soon, as he hasn't a successor lined up.

If you have enjoyed previous Reacher books, pick this one up too. It's a nice Last Man Standing scenario with the usual hyper-analytical characters. For anyone new to Jack Reacher I'd recommend to start at the beginning.
