Review of 'Night School' on 'Goodreads'

A normal Jack Reacher, but the setting in Hamburg was rather annoying for me. Hamburg is portrayed as a harbor town all the time, full of sailors and ships leaving. While the latter is true, it's also a city of 1.8 million people, with the same amount of people in the metropolitan area. The sailors the city sees at any given time are nothing compared to the rest of the people. That the areas featured in the book are nothing like their descriptions is something I can live with. Slightly more annoying is that there seems to be a Nazi bar at every other corner.

The most annoying thing was that I knew what Davy Crockett was before any of the army lifers in the book. I guess this is proof that the books exist in an alternate universe where Wikipedia doesn't exist.

I hope the next books go back to featuring Podunk, USA, where we all know this crap is really happening.
